Nikki Boyd, a best-selling author, blogger, and YouTuber, shares five steps to declutter, organize, and beautify the home. Through her work experience as a professional organizer, she shows you how to transform your home into a calming space for your family. Y'all, she gives tips to transform every room in your home into a decluttered space.
The Home Organization Deck includes easy-to-follow steps to focus on one area weekly, keeping a busy schedule in mind. Also, check out her YouTube channel and blog, At Home with Nikki, where she shows you how to create a welcoming, decluttered atmosphere for family and friends. I am a fan!
I am a proud plant parent.! If you want to become one or have plant goals of using plants in your home decor, this book is for you. In this book, Hilton Carter shares which plants are best to use in the room you decorate, impacting plant life in your home. This is a beautiful book, inside and out.

There are bible scriptures throughout the chapters supporting the theme that our home is a sacred place.
Corey Damen Jenkin's book Design Remix is delightful! Y'all know I love color and pattern, and I also love texture. Jenkins shares tips on how to mix what would be considered opposite items together using fashion as inspiration. He shares stories from his childhood in Detroit and how he began his career in interior design. He also shares his thought process on creating spaces, including family heirlooms, vintage decor, and historic home features.

Side note: These are a few designers who are paving the way for a more diverse interior design industry. It is exciting and inspirational to have representation in this area, with designers receiving well-deserved recognition for their work, creativity, and what they add to the industry.
